Zusammenfassung

Die groBe Zahl von Publikationen zum Thoma Amyloidosen wahrend der letzten 3 Jahre zeigt, daB gerade auf diesem Gebiet die medizinische Forschung im allgemeinen, ebenso wie die dermatologische Wissenschaft im speziellen kraftige Impulse erhalten hat. In der Vergangenheit hatten besonders Fortschritte der histologischhistochemischen and ultrastrukturellen Techniken and die Einfiihrung der Strahlenanalytik fur wesentliche Informationsschube gesorgt. Die allen Amyloidmassen gemeinsame Protein-Natur, Fibrillencharakter and R-Faltblattstruktur konnten damit weitgehend abgeklart warden (Literaturiibersichten bei [3,11]).
