Zusammenfassung

Die in den letzten Jahren erfolgte Anerkennung und Erforschung des Schnarchens und der obstruktiven Schlafapnoe (OSA) bei Erwachsenen als eigenständige Erkrankung hat auch das Schnarchen und die im Schlaf auftretenden Atemstillstände der Kinder in den Blickpunkt des Interesses gerückt.
