Zusammenfassung

Zur Therapie des Prostatakarzinoms werden vielfältige Behandlungsverfahren eingesetzt. Die differentialtherapeutische Wahl des Vorgehens hängt entscheidend vom Befall der regionalen Lymphknoten ab, wobei viele Autoren bei regionalem Lymphknotenbefall von einer radikalen Prostatavesikulektomie absehen. Bei organüberschreitendem Tumorbefall wird die Prognose drastisch reduziert, so daß selbst bei Befall eines einzigen positiven Lymphknoten meist keine kurative Therapie mehr möglich wird (Gervasi et al. 1989; Henry u. Isaacs 1988; Zincke et al. 1988).
