Abstract

Technovision is an integrated CAD system designed for Norsk Data’s ND-500 and ND-5000 series of super minis. It comprises a very complete 2D drafting system, with DIN symbol libraries, upgraded with a surface modeller (TECH-SURF) and solid modeller (TECH-SOLID) [67]. Several application modules are available, like archive manipulation for product hierarchy (TECH-ARC), NC milling (TECH-MILL), user programming interface for 2D (TECH-OFFL), and standard description interfaces (TECH-IGES, TECH-APT).
