Zusammenfassung
Der Ersatz von Herzklappen durch künstliche Implantate ist seit über 25 Jahren ein anerkanntes klinisches Verfahren. Klinische Verwendung fanden bis heute ca. 60 verschiedene Klappentypen, von denen z.Z. ca. 30 Typen kommerziell erhältlich sind. Diese unterteilen sich in die Hauptgruppen der mechanischen Klappen und der Bioprothesen, von denen in den Abb. 1 und 2 die wichtigsten dargestellt sind.
