Summary

During the last 4 years a research project concerning field failure data collection and analysis has taken place at the Danish Engineering Academy (DIA). Field failure data has been collected on two Danish electronic products.

In order to analyse the data it has been necessary to design a database to hold and manipulate the data.

This paper describes the level of information in the database and the work performed to handle incomplete datasets.
