Abstract

One of the most common tasks in optimization is to set up a design that meets all the construction demands and represents the geometrical and cross-sectional parameters as an economical solution. In the past, the optimization of geometry and/or cross-sections were done in a separate formulation for each particular problem (1) - (5).
