Abstract

Vector optimization procedures interacting with the decision maker (DM) have gained much attention in the management sciences and in policy decision making. These procedures can also be applied on structural and component optimization problems as shown in the following. The non-linearity of the optimization problem, time-consuming analytical or numerical structural analyses and the limited validity of the optimization model provide higher demands on the interactive procedure.
