Abstract
In the majority of the studies on polypyrrole films common counter ions have been used as dopants . However, recently growing interest in the incorporation of more complex species exhibiting redox properties can be noticed (e.g. /I/-/ 1/). It is mainly connected with the catalytic application of the polymer-modified electrodes. In addition, the presence of the electroactive doping anions makes possible to use some electrochemical methods which provide complementary information on the dopant structure and on the ion transport in the polypyrrole film.
