Abstract
Conjugated polymers exhibit interesting properties as materials for rechargeable batteries [1–3]. modified electrodes [4], and electrochromic display devices [5–6]. The last application involves a reversible color change depending on the redox state of the polymer; the green oxidized polyaniline films can be changed to transparent yellow by reduction in 1 M HCl in the potential range of -0.2 V to 0.6 V vs. SCE [7].
