Abstract
Polyaniline films have been intensively studied recently. The results obtained, however, are not very clear and more work should be done to elucidate the mechanism of PANI formation, redox processes, molecular structure and film morphology. In our opinion, these problems can be at least partially solved by increasing the number of physical chemical methods adopted. Particular difficulties are connected with investigations of very early steps of polymer film growth.
