Abstract

The hot (\( \dot{M}_{1} \)) and cold (\( \dot{M}_{2} \)) flows through the heat exchanger ducts are separated by a common wall, which forms the heat-exchange surface. An infinitesimal element of such a heat exchanger is shown in Figure 3.1.
