Abstract

One-dimensional non-linear soliton-bearing condensed matter systems have received much attention in recent years [1]. In this context the properties of the magnetic salts CsNiF3 and (C6 H11 NH3)CuBr3 (CHAB) are of particular interest. In the long wavelength limit, k → O, both these salts are described by the one-dimensional easy-plane continuum ferromagnetic spin model [2,3]
