Abstract
Although Tensegrity Systems have an undeniable attraction for builders, they are hardly used at all because of the lack of accurate quantitative knowledge of their structural behaviour. The present article concerns the experimental and theoretical study of Tensegrity Systems and deals with static and dynamic analysis. Theoretical study is suitable for any kind of Tensegrity System; experimental work has been developped on the smallest tensegrity module, so-called “Simplex”.
