Abstract

The majority of craniofacial abnormalities can be treated effectively with well-known standard procedures. However, some abnormalities are encountered that differ so much from typical pictures that new surgical solutions must be sought. The patient described in this paper is one of these. This case represents an interesting and rare variant, which needs a surgical procedure that can also be used for more usual malformations.

Dedicated to Prof. Dr. H. Obwegeser on the occasion of his 65th birthday.
