Summary
The article deals with application of some optical methods at solution the problems of metal forming especially at rolling by plain rolls. From the optical methods the visioplastic method, the photo-eIasticimetric method and the photo-plastic method of the surface foils were used for investigation into the vector and tensor fields in the plastically formed metallic materials. The stable and unstable rolling process has been studied with the help of a high-frequency camera PENTAZET 35 and combined transmission-reflexion polariscope of our own design. The acquired fields of speed, strain and stress serve for solution of the problems of deformability of metals, of force-energetic parameters of rolling and for optimizing the forming processes.
