Abstract
The CAPTAIN system, a videotex in Japan, developed by NTT under the guidance of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, has been enhanced system functions and enlarged system scale with 2,000 user terminals and 200,000 display frames after the first experimental service from December, 1979.
