Zusammenfassung

Die diabetische Nephropathie ist eine der häufigsten Ursachen der Urämie. Die Resultate der Nierentransplantation bei Diabetikern sind in den vergangenen Jahren verbessert worden, aber sie sind nicht äquivalent denen bei nichtdiabetischen Organempfängern. Die vasculäre Erkrankung schreitet weiter fort und wird selbst in den transplantierten Nieren beobachtet.
