Quality Control Program for Estradiol Receptor Determination: The Italian Experience

Abstract

The main objective of the Italian interlaboratory quality control program was to evaluate the methods applied by the numerous laboratories that determine estradiol receptor in tumors, in order to achieve both standardized methods and consequently more reliable and comparable data.
