Summary

This paper presents the effects of different disturbances on Brown-Roshko coherent structures in the plane mixing layer. The Brown-Roshko coherent structures emerge three-dimensionality. There is a certain relationship between the forming of Brown- Roshko coherent structures and the development of Kelvin- Helmholtz instability waves.
