Strahlentherapie des fortgeschrittenen Mammakarzinoms

Zusammenfassung

Der Stellenwert der radiologisch-onkologischen Behandlung des Mammakarzinoms ist abhängig vom Stadium der Erkrankung. Für den fortgeschrittenen Brustdrüsenkrebs gibt es zahlreiche Bestrahlungsindikationen (Abb. 1). Es handelt sich meistens um Behandlungen aus palliativer Intention, wobei nicht zuletzt durch die Integration von operativen Behandlungsmöglichkeiten, der Hormon- und der Chemotherapie sowie der Radiotherapie langfristige Besserungen zu erzielen sind [47].
