Abstract

Many authors consider that Anorexia Nervosa (AN) results from the refusal of an adult female body, that is to say, a sexually attractive and menstruating female body (Beckers, Bruch, Codet, Deutsch, Feldman, Fenichel, Freud A, Sandor-Laurand, Selvini, Thoma...). In order to verify this assertion, we studied six criteria of femininity in 100 cases of female AN.
