Abstract

WHHL rabbit is short for the Watanabe Heritable Hyperlipidemic rabbit. This strain has been inherited by inbreeding a mutant of hyperlipidemic rabbit found in Japanese white rabbits (Oryctolagus cuniculus Var. domesticus).
