Zusammenfassung
Die Zahl der in der BRD mit Dialyse und Transplantation versorgten Patienten liegt wesentlich höher, als frühere Schätzungen der EDTA vorhersagten (Abb. 1). Ende 1979 wurden 161 Patienten/1 Mio. Einwohner versorgt, davon über 140 mittels Dialyse (2).
