Zusammenfassung

Für die Auswahl der Therapie des Prostatacarcinoms sollte das Staging entscheidend sein. D.h., daß prätherapeutisch die Ausbreitung des Carci- noms möglichst genau festgestellt wird. Letztlich bleibt zu entscheiden, ob der Tumor auf die Pro stata beschränkt, die Organgrenze überschritten oder bereits metastasiert hat.
