The EPR Study of Structural Changes in Oxide Glasses under Crystallization
The possibilities of EPR in the study of the distribution of Ti3+, Co2+ and Cu2+ in the structure of crystallized glasses (CG) are considered. The investigation of the phase composition in the partially CG in Li2O-Al2O3-SiO2-TiO2, Na2O-SiO2-ZrO2 systems is carried out using EPR of Cu2+. The character of the chemical bonds for Cu2+ complexes due to different phases of CG is discussed.
