The Line-Shape of Electron Paramagnetic Resonance of Trimeric Clusters in Polycrystalline Solids

Abstract

The line-shape of EPR of ground state of polycrystals consisting of anti-ferromagnetic homo- and heteronuclear clusters with half-integer spins (for example mixed chromium and iron acetate of the type [M2M′ O(CH3OO)6 (H2O)3C1·nH2O,M2M′ = Cr 3 + ,Fe3+)has been investigated. It has been shown that characteristic pecularities of the line-shape contain information about antisymmetric and isotropic parameters.
