Abstract
For many years at the Curie Foundation, non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas localized in the upper digestive and respiratory tract (UDRT) have been treated by locoregional irradiation, and the disappearance of the tumor has been achieved in more than 80% of the patients [3, 5]. Nevertheless, only 36% of the patients were alive at 5 years, and it appears necessary to try to improve the prognosis by other means of treatment. Chemotherapy may be one of the most useful, and in order to select a new therapeutic regimen, we reviewed some data which may have prognostic significance, particularly the histopathologic pattern of the biopsies which had permitted the diagnosis.
