Zusammenfassung

Dieser Report muß notwendigerweise, wenn er sich nicht ins Uferlose verlieren will, gewisse Regeln beachten. Diese wurden bereits im vergangenen Jahr von Herrn Zingg in der Einleitung seines ausgezeichneten Referates klar herausgestellt. Auch ich werde mich deshalb auf eine Anzahl von Sachgebieten beschränken, und damit schließt sich ein Anspruch auf Vollständigkeit dieser Übersicht bereits aus. Nicht jedes dieser Themata wird für jeden Urologen gleiche Relevanz besitzen. Die Fülle des Materials und die Notwendigkeit der Beschränkung auf die zur Verfügung stehende Zeit machen es außerdem erforderlich, daß meist nur die wichtigsten Erkenntnisse und Schlußfolgerungen aus den zitierten Arbeiten referiert werden können unter Verzicht auf oft recht interessante Details.
