Book cover Hemopoietic Colonies

Abstract

All the major subpopulations of hemopoietic cells can now be grown as cloned colonies in semisolid culture. With the intelligent use of these cloning systems, it should now be possible to analyze most of the biological processes occurring as progenitor cells proliferate and differentiate to eventually form the mature end cells in each hemopoietic subpopulation.
