We are now looking back on thirty years of cytostatic therapy. Hematoblastoses have been the principal field of application. A diagram outlining the present status of results obtained with combination therapy in Hodgkin’s disease has been published elsewhere (4); six years after the start of a N. I. H. study in 1967, the surviving fraction for the group of risk was still over 0.5 in the entire group, and almost 0.6 in the complete remission group.
