Zusammenfassung

Im Jahre 1896 wurde von Albarran und Guyon erstmals die Anlage einer Nierenfistel mitgeteilt. Seitdem gehört dieser Eingriff zum unentbehrlichen operativen Rüstzeug des Urologen. So wurden an der Urologischen Universitätsklinik München von 1966 bis 1972 633 Nierenfisteln angelegt, wobei es sich in etwa einem Drittel der Fälle um permanente Nephrostomien handelte. Im gleichen Zeitraum wurden lediglich 115 sonstige operative supravesikale Harnableitungen vorgenommen, unter denen der Häufigkeit nach 69 Bricker-Ableitungen neben 22 Uretero-Sigmoidostomien und 20 Sigma-Rectum- Blasen an der Spitze standen (Abb. 1).
