Entscheidend für den Erfolg der Nierentransplantation ist neben der Selektion der Empfänger, der Qualität des Transplantates, der exakten Technik und der individuellen Immunsuppression vor allem die richtige Deutung und Therapie von Komplikationen in der prä- und postoperativen Phase.
