Abstract
North American Blastomycosis is a disease of protean manifestations caused by the fungus Blastomyces dermatitidis. Blastomycotic infections may be benign and self-limiting or progressive with involvement of virtually any organ of the body by dissemination from a primary pulmonary focus. Lesions may be exudative, suppurative, or granulomatous. Historical highlights are listed in Table 1.
