Abstract

Ophthalmodynamometry is a well established clinical procedure. Some authors, De Laet and Arakawa have indicated its role in glaucoma. It has not found universal application in this field. The possible presence of lowered arterial pressure would raise the question of restricted flow in the carotid vessels and in particular amongst the age group of glaucomatous patients the possibility of co-existent carotid disease must exist.
