Bei Verletzungen durch intraokulare Metallfremdkörper steht die Frage nach dem Ausmaß der Metallintoxikation (Metallosis bulbi) im Vordergrund. Die Antwort hierauf bestimmt weitgehend Indikation und Methode des operativen Vorgehens.
