Zusammenfassung
Als Bradykardie wird i.allg. eine Herzfrequenz unter 60 Schlägen/min definiert. Als Grundlage für die Entscheidung, die die Notwendigkeit einer therapeutischen Intervention betrifft, ist diese Definition allerdings nicht relevant (Abb. 1). Es ist weitgehend akzeptiert, daß eine Herzfrequenz unter 40 Schlägen/min als in jedem Fall kritische Herzschlagfrequenz anzusehen ist. Eine Herzfrequenz zwischen 40 und 60 Schlägen/min kann Symptome verursachen, die eine therapeutische Intervention erfordern.
