Zusammenfassung
Die fötale Wirbelsäule läßt sich um die 10. Schwangerschaftswoche röntgenologisch darstellen. Die Gesamtlänge des Föten ist zu diesem Zeitpunkt 90 mm. Nach Töndury [60] treten die ersten Ossifikationskerne im Bereich der unteren Brustwirbelsäule auf. Von dort schreitet der Verknöcherungsprozeß nach kranial und kaudal fort. Aus diesem Grund zeigt das Röntgenbild eines Föten immer verschiedene Stadien der Ossifikation in den einzelnen Wirbelsäulenabschnitten (Abb. 1).
