Zusammenfassung
Die Onkologie wird üblicherweise oder znmeist mit Diagnostik und Therapie der Krebskrankheiten in Zusammenhang gebracht, doch kann man im weiteren Sinn auch die Ätiologie einbeziehen. Hier ist die Verbindung zur Krankheitsursachenforschung beim Menschen, der Epidemiologie herstellbar. Die Epidemiologie ist immer menschenbezogen und im Kontext dieses Kongresses wird die Ätiologie spezifisch auf Krankheitsrisiken des weiblichen Geschlechts betrachtet und vor Ihnen steht ein homo aetiologicus.
