Abstract
DNA profiling has rapidly become a routine technique in forensic laboratories worldwide since its introduction in 1985. Recently a commercially available product appeared for forensic cases based on reverse dot-blot technology — Amplitype PM. We report here the allele frequencies for those 5 markers (LDLR, GYPA, HBGG, D7S8 and Gc) in a population from north Portugal.
