In diesem Kapitel soll auf die Nachsorgebetreuung des Nierentransplantierten kurz nach der Operation sowie einige Wochen nach der Transplantation eingegangen werden. Die Langzeitprobleme und die längerfristigen Komplikationen werden detailliert in den nachfolgenden Kapiteln besprochen.
