Zusammenfassung

Seit der Erstbeschreibung durch Parks u. Nicholls [22] im Jahre 1978 hat sich die Therapie der beiden gutartigen Darmerkrankungen Colitis ulcerosa und familiäre adenomatöse Polyposis coli (FAP) grundlegend gewandelt. Die anatomischen und physiologischen Erkenntnisse über das Sphinkterorgan, die kinderchirurgischen Erfahrungen mit analen Durchzugsoperationen und schließlich die verbreitete Anwendung des kontinenten Ileostomas nach Koch [14] bildeten die Voraussetzungen für den erfolgreichen ileoanalen Pouch.
