Zusammenfassung
Die Wirksamkeit von Faktor-VIII-Konzentraten bei der Hämophiliebehandlung ist abhängig vom Gehalt an Faktor VIII:C, der Reinheit des Präparates und der Nebenwirkungsfreiheit [1, 3, 6]. Einen Hinweis für den hämostatischen Effekt geben die Bestimmung von In-vivo-Recovery und biologischer Halbwertszeit. Als Maß für die Infektionssicherheit kann der Grad der Virusinaktivierung von dem Gerinnungspräparat artifiziell zugesetzten Viren herangezogen werden. Eine endgültige Bestätigung der Virussicherheit ist aber erst mittels Durchführung klinischer Studien an bisher nicht mit Plasmaderivaten behandelten Patienten möglich [3, 5, 6].
