Abstract

A Complete Event Group (CEG) is a set of event variables with a joint probability distribution, representing uncertainty in a knowledge base in the field of AI. In statistics it is a familiar task to calculate the joint distribution at minimal directed divergence according to modified marginals. The modification of marginals here is that of handling a logical function on evident facts. Furthermore a logical interpretation of hypothetical events is given.
