Abstract

For conceptual modeling of optimization problems, a decision support system should offer means for

  • modeling the objects and their relationships which are considered relevant,

  • specifying which information is needed for solving the problem,

  • formulating constraints which must be satisfied by a solution, and

  • specifying objectives.
