Zusammenfassung

Studien an kleineren Kollektiven beschreiben eine positive Korrelation zwischen Muskelkraft und Knochendichte (Pocock et al. 1989). Diese Untersuchungen wurden an Osteoporose-patienten oder leistungsorientierten Sportlern vorgenommen. Fraglich ist, ob eine derartige Selektion des Probandengutes zu allgemein aussagekräftigen Ergebnissen führt.
