The Window of Opportunity for the Treatment of Cerebral Ischaemia
For many years the window of opportunity for effective treatment of cerebral ischaemia was thought to be too short to be of any practical significance but this depends to some extent on the definition of the term; it is useful and less nihilistic to take a broader view. In the past two decades much evidence has accumulated on the many parameters which define this window, or rather these windows.
