Zusammenfassung

Nach Kahlbaum, der 1874 die Katatonie beschrieb, zählen folgende Phänomene zum katatonen Syndrom:

  • Störungen von Muskeltonus, Motilität, Haltung und Ausdruck: z.B. Rigor, Katalepsie, Flexibilitas cerea, Tremor, Spasmen, Verbigerationen, Stereotypien, Bizarrerien, Manierismen;

  • Störungen der Willenssphäre, wie Negativismus, Befehlsautomatismus, Echophänomene, Mutismus, Aggressivität.
