Zusammenfassung
Zur Verifizierung der klinisch gestellten Diagnose eines Basalioms ist bisher die postoperative, histologische Gewebsaufbereitung und -Untersuchung von essentieller Bedeutung. Seit einigen Jahren steht uns mit der hochfrequenten Sonographie (20 MHz [1,16] und 50 MHz [12]) ein nicht-invasives dermatolo gisches Untersuchungsverfahren zur Verfügung, das uns präoperative Informationen über die laterale und axiale Ausdehnung von Hauttumoren (im Korium) gestattet. Leider sind die Ultraschallgeräte zur Zeit nur begrenzt in der Lage, das Tumorparenchym differenziert darzustellen [1, 11, 12, 16]. Es ergeben sich Schwierigkeiten bei der Abgrenzung zwischen Tumorparenchym und entzündlichem Begleitinfiltrat [11, 12, 13].
