Seit mehr als 30 Jahren sind trizyklische Antidepressiva (TZA) im klinischen Gebrauch und haben sich als effektive Substanzen in der Behandlung von Depression und depressiver Begleitsymptome anderer psychischer Erkrankungen erwiesen.
